But a viral theory is said to be able to easily differentiate between millennials and generation Z. The way to do this is by looking at your feet.
This is Phoebe Parsons, a millennial podcaster who claims to know how to easily guess a woman’s age or at least generation. In a viral video, he said this could be easily differentiated just by looking at the feet, specifically the socks.
“Gen Z in particular wears their socks all the way up and millennials still wear socks all the way up to their ankles,” he said.

Meanwhile, according to him, younger people or generation Z choose tube sock socks that are longer at the calf length so they are more visible. This is because since 2020, wearing shoes with long socks has become a trend since the pandemic.

Each generation has its own way of expressing their fashion style. Recently, Gen Z has returned to early 2000s trends that millennials may not approve of, such as unbuttoned trousers, visible bras, jorts, including calf socks.
